A Community with History

Today, the historic Ceresota building is home to a vibrant community of seniors, receiving care and services at Millers Landing Senior Living – but, rewind 100 years and the primary function of the structure located on 2nd Street in the Mill District of Minneapolis, was to store and clean grain. Built in 1908 by the Northwestern Consolidated Milling Company, the old Ceresota Building is the only surviving grain elevator in Minneapolis. In 1987, it was preserved and converted into commercial office space and between 2013-2015, the building was renovated into Assisted Living and Memory Care Apartments, where it operates today as a historic senior living community residents proudly call home.
